Naveed Davoodian

Postdoctoral Fellow - Fungi

Naveed Davoodian

is a postdoctoral researcher working on phylogenetic systematics of fungi. His research is focused on the diversity of ectomycorrhizal lineages (especially Boletales and Hysterangiales), with geographic emphasis on Australasia, Asia, and North America. Naveed's work sheds light on the evolution of fungi and advances their taxonomy. Additionally, he has broad interests in mycology and contributes to projects on mycophagy, fire ecology, and conservation.
